Job summary

A leading MGA in London is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to oversee financial reporting and lead business partnering initiatives. The successful candidate will manage month-end deliverables, assist in budget creations, and coach the FP&A analyst. A qualified accountant with prior experience in financial services, particularly insurance, is strongly preferred. Qualifications

Overview

An award winning MGA is looking for a FP&A Manager to join their finance department to lead and be responsible for producing the monthly/quarterly/annual MI as well as being the lead in all reporting matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Board and EXCO reporting
• Lead P&L and business review meetings with MDs
• End to end management and close of FP&A month end deliverables
• Lead meetings with portfolio teams/cost centre heads to build their annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Producing investment models to review trading teams and extend out to view the 5-year plan
• Develop dashboard of KPI reporting and analytics, for management and executive teams
• Maintain central data warehouse for MI and Stat purposes
• Support the implementation of a new finance reporting tool
• Coaching the FP&A analyst and supporting their growth

Qualifications

• The successful candidate for this FP&A Manager will need experience in Business Partnering or FP&A within financial services, ideally within insurance industry
• The candidate must also be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
