Enable VIC: The Intelligence Layer for Luxury Travel

Enable VIC is building the world’s first AI-powered intelligence platform for luxury travel management. We are transforming how elite lifestyle managers serve ultra-high-net-worth clients by creating a unified system that ingests, validates, and surfaces critical travel intelligence—from complex partnership commissions to personalized client preferences.

We are solving a high-stakes data orchestration problem where accuracy is the foundation of reputation. We are looking for a Founding Engineer to co-architect the backbone of this platform.

The Problems You’ll Solve

• High-Fidelity Extraction: Build resilient pipelines to transform unstructured data (PDFs, contracts, emails) into a structured, high-accuracy registry using LLMs.
• Personalization Engine: Develop logic to map complex "VIC" (Very Important Client) profiles against property attributes to surface hyper-relevant travel recommendations.
• Intelligent Drafting: Build tools that assist managers in drafting complex itineraries, leveraging RAG to ensure every recommendation is backed by real-time perks and partnership data.
• System Orchestration: Design reliable, async environments for LLM tasks, ensuring source traceability and 99%+ data reliability across 600+ travel-specific data points.
• Product Evolution: Design elegant APIs for our Flutter-based frontend and implement semantic search features that understand the nuance of "luxury".

What Success Looks Like

• Phase 1: Audit the MVP, stabilize core patterns, and establish a scalable architectural roadmap.
• Phase 2: Move from a functional prototype to a production-grade system capable of handling 10x data volume without regression.
• Phase 3: Influence technical culture, own end-to-end deployments, and help scale the engineering team.

What We’re Looking For

• Founding Mindset: 5+ years of experience building production-grade systems. You enjoy the 0→1 phase and take extreme ownership of the "how".
• AI/LLM Pragmatism: You’ve shipped LLM features to production. You understand prompt engineering, structured outputs, and the challenges of non-deterministic systems.
• Full-Stack Depth: Strong in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, Go) with deep knowledge of database design, schema evolution, and indexing.
• Technical Judgment: You know when to build, when to buy, and when to refactor. You prioritize "boring" reliability for mission‑critical data.

Our Tech Direction

We currently utilize Node.js, Python, MongoDB, and AWS/GCP, with a Flutter frontend. As a founding member, you will have a decisive vote on our database strategy (e.g., Postgres/pgvector), queue management, and stack consolidation.
