Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm


Pay: Main Pay Scale (UPS considered)



The Role


  • Teach Food Technology across KS3, KS4 and KS5

  • Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to autism-specific learning profiles

  • Promote independence, confidence, communication and life skills

  • Ensure safe management of practical cooking sessions, equipment and materials

  • Adjust tasks and environments to support sensory needs, allergies and EHCP targets

  • Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and SEN specialists

  • Support accreditation, qualifications and personalised learning pathways

  • Contribute to curriculum development rooted in autism-informed practice
