Qualifications

  • Solid background in food safety and health & safety auditing, ideally in hospitality.
  • Experience auditing high-risk operations such as hotels with spa or swimming pool facilities.
  • Valid driving licence and car, as travelling to clients regularly is required.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Conduct food safety and health & safety inspections and records audits at client premises.
  • Produce compliance reports and practical recommendations for clients following each visit.
  • Deliver risk assessments, including occupational, manual handling and PPE, particularly in hospitality environments.
  • Support new client onboarding, including the implementation of our digital compliance platform, ALERT65.
  • Provide tailored advice, consultancy and training to clients across a wide range of environments.
  • Act as Account Manager for a number of clients – typically individual or small group hospitality operators.
  • Conduct investigations into allegations such as food poisoning, allergen incidents or foreign body contamination.
  • Participate in our Advice Line rota, offering reactive expert guidance and managing investigations.
  • Offer constructive feedback to internal teams, including IT and Operations, to support continuous improvement.
  • Engage in internal training (CPD) and team development.
  • Manage communications efficiently – respond to client and internal queries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Solid background in food safety and health & safety auditing, ideally in hospitality.
  • Minimum Level 4 Food Safety qualification required; a BSc in Environmental Health or equivalent industry experience highly desirable.
  • Experience auditing high‑risk operations such as hotels with spa or swimming pool facilities is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent time‑management, communication and organisational skills – you’ll need to manage a busy and varied caseload.
  • Adaptable, relationship‑led approach – client experience is everything to us.
  • Valid driving licence and car, as travelling to clients regularly is required.
