The company in question prides themselves on their quality and therefore they are trusted by over 400 clients and a huge customer base across the UK and Europe. This is an opportunity for you to join this crucial team at the company and join a rapidly expanding player in the ever‑changing, always moving Food distribution industry.

Title: Food Quality Assurance Supervisor

Salary: £30,000

Languages: MANDARIN and / or CANTONESE ideal. Other languages are a bonus.

Location: Southeast London (Accessible via M25, southeastern rail and Thameslink)

Car Parking: Free Parking

Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Work style: Fully office based

Start date: ASAP

The Role in a nutshell
1) QA Compliance and Administration
  • Controlling the labelling system, ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene codes and quality documentation.
  • Preparing NCN and foreign body records
  • Controlling technical equipment stock and quality
  • Taking charge of traceability documentation (mass balance, supporting documentation etc.)
  • Reporting on quality system performance to all levels
  • Collect samples and prepare laboratory paperwork
  • Support auditing of equipment, the environment, and fabrication
  • Handle customer and supplier communication (customers include supermarkets / restaurants etc.)
2) QA Team management
  • Supervising the QA team.
  • Deputise for QM in case of absence.
  • Assist QM.
  • Production line and QA inspection checking.
  • Controlling health and safety for all QA staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisor role in a similar position (Food industry ideal).
