Salary: £27.5K + Shift Allowance

FOLDING TECHNICAL OPERATOR

SOUTH WALES

SHIFT HOURS: 3 SHIFT PATTERN - NIGHT, AFTERNOON AND MORNING (WITH NIGHT SHIFTS STARTING SUNDAY NIGHT)

Our client is a leading successful packaging manufacturer with various locations across the world. They specialise in packaging for the food service and FMCG markets and have a high level operation to ensure exceptional levels of customer service are given at all times.

They are currently looking to recruit a Folding Technical Operator to join their team. You will be supporting the production across all shifts, ensuring efficient organisation and achievement of output targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production activities to meet output targets
  • Monitor and control production output
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained according to procedures
  • Assist with preventive maintenance alongside the team
  • Manage spare parts and tools
  • Change tooling and oversee machine start-up
  • Work collaboratively across weekly shifts with the team
  • Participate in the company’s TPM (Continuous Improvement) program
  • Proactively uphold Health & Safety standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with Bobst Folding Machinery / Folding Glue Setting
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement process improvements
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail
