Forklift Operator - HU7 Area

Pay: £12.25 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 07:45‑17:00 (0.5 hr lunch)

Friday: 07:45‑12:45

Contract: Ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person

Environment: Manufacturing

We are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in the HU7 area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to lead to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating the forklift truck safely and efficiently
  • Manual handling duties, including unloading containers
  • Moving materials and stock around the site
  • Supporting general warehouse and production activities
  • Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements
  • Valid and in-date FLT licence (Counterbalance or as required)
  • Experience in manual handling and unloading containers
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Reliability, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
