Job Vacancy: FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Middleton

Company Overview

Our client, based in Middleton, is a trusted provider of retail stock preparation and logistics services across multiple sectors. They are currently seeking skilled and safety-conscious FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join their warehouse team.

Role Summary

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading deliveries, transporting stock to designated areas, and supporting general warehouse operations when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas
• Transport stock across the warehouse and production zones
• Assist with packing and benchwork tasks when needed
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing safety shoes and a Hi-Vis vest
• Adhere to proper lifting and handling guidelines
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude

Candidate Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in-date and accredited)
• Previous experience in warehouse or logistics roles preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Available Monday-Thursday (08 : 00-16 : 30) and Friday (08 : 00-15 : 00)
• Long-term opportunity with no weekend shifts
