Job summary

An employment business is currently recruiting for a Production Operative role in Runcorn. The position, which offers a pay rate of £13.48 per hour, involves manufacturing fluoropolymer coatings and ensuring the highest quality standards. Candidates must have a FLT License (Counterbalance), be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to Lean principles. This ongoing role may lead to a permanent position for suitable candidates. Regular shifts of 37.5 hours per week are scheduled from 6am to 2pm.

Qualifications

  • FLT License (Counterbalance is essential & Reach License is preferable).
  • Ability to process/manage Lean principles.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within a fast paced, high achieving team.
  • Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process/manufacture products to the highest quality as per IFS Shop Orders.
  • Advise on any quality issues/shortages of raw materials.
  • Assist to improve/advice on procedures in the work areas.
  • Ensure responsibility for FLT/Reach trucks safety and daily checks.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment as per 5s requirements.
  • Maintain daily audit data as per SQCPD requirements.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Promote best health and safety practices.
  • Carry out additional duties as required by Production Manager/Shift managers.
  • Adhere to PPG Whitford code and conduct.
