Job Details

Job Title: Floor Layer; Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time; Sector: Property Services; Location: Harrow, West London; Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00; Pay: 22.00 - 24.00 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join a respected property maintenance contractor on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work in occupied and void social housing properties across Harrow and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled, reliable tradesperson who can confidently work across a range of trades, with a particular focus on flooring and carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying vinyl, laminate, or other types of flooring including cap and cove (as required)
  • Repairing or replacing window boards, locks, and handles.
  • Use a PDA or mobile device to receive job information and update job status
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a professional, courteous approach when working in occupied homes.
Requirements
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Able to pass a Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Competent in additional trades such as plumbing, tiling, and decorating
