A leading engineering consultancy in Northern Ireland is hiring a Flooding Civil Engineer to join their team. You’ll work on innovative flood management projects, collaborating closely with senior engineers. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Civil Engineering and have at least three years of post-qualification experience. Amey Engineering teams improve the environment and create sustainable flooding solutions across the UK, by working in partnership with a range of clients, providing consultancy design services for Local Authorities, Strategic and Local transport providers and organisations delivering National Infrastructure. We make our towns and cities better places to live by improving connectivity, flood resilience, sustainability and quality of life.
Due to an increased workload, we are looking to recruit Flooding Civil Engineers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Flooding and Water Management team in our Belfast or Cardiff offices, providing effective support and assistance to the senior engineers and team leaders on a variety of flood schemes.
We have been confirmed as the lead engineering consultant working with the NI Department for Infrastructure (DFI) on their Water and Departmental Delivery contract for the next five years, as well as NI Transport Asset Management and Translink contracts. We are working on a range of flood management projects for Regional Authorities in Wales, South-West and Midlands areas, National Highways and National Rail, and looking to expand further in these areas.
