Job description

Our client is currently seeking a Flood Risk Engineer to join their team. This is a full‑time, temporary role for three months with a view to extend, focusing on providing technical expertise in flood risk analysis and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering Council services across flood risk analysis, including reviewing flood risk assessments and SuDS designs.
• Responding to planning applications and حقی contributing to the management of the Council's flood storage assets.
• Challenging consultants and developers to design effective drainage systems that comply with local and national planning policy and legislation.
• Monitoring and assessing new and existing drainage systems across various developments, including large residential sites.
• Ensuring the Council meets its statutory obligations and maintains high standards of probity and conduct.
