About Heavy Haulage

Heavy Haulage is a division of K&S Freighters, specialising in the transportation of oversized, over mass freight solutions, special projects, equipment storage and port logistics. Every project we undertake is managed by our expert project's teams, committed to excellence and precision.

The role

You will be responsible for the safe loading, securing and transportation of heavy, oversize loads using float trailers and other specialised transport equipment. The role will require remote travel to a number of WA mine sites with the occasional interstate trip as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floats & prime movers for the transport of oversize, heavy loads.
• Conduct regular pre-start checks and maintain vehicles & trailers in top working condition.
• Sound knowledge & understanding of load restraint & over‑mass regulations.
• Communicate with escort drivers, site personnel & logistics coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with all permits and route requirements.
• Strong adherence to effectively manage fatigue hours.
