Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Flight Data Analyst to support A400M maintenance based in Brize Norton. The ideal candidate will capture and transfer maintenance information into the Maintenance Data System (MDS) and produce weekly reports to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail are essential, along with security clearance eligibility. This role requires on-site presence during weekends and holidays, along with a driving license and local residency.

Qualifications

  • Experience with an administrative or technical background desirable.
  • Must hold a driving license.
  • Security Clearance or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

  • Support A400M maintenance by capturing data into the Maintenance Data System (MDS).
  • Enter retrospective data on MDS, including closing work orders.
  • Send weekly reports to Part 145 with the maintenance plan.
  • Perform general administration tasks.

Flight Data Analyst

On site 5 days / Shift pattern (weekends, evenings, and bank holidays)

£30,000 - £37,500 + Overtime

Capgemini are looking to recruit a Flight Data Analyst to join our team based in Brize Norton.

Need to be within 45 min commute of Brize Norton.

Job Purpose

Support A400M maintenance by capturing and transferring maintenance information into the Maintenance Data System (MDS) generated by Part 145 during missions. This includes the period before aircraft departure until its return to the base, with weekly reports produced and sent to Part 145 to ensure all maintenance activities meet airworthiness standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter retrospective data on MDS, including :
  • Closing work orders
  • Entering SRPs date and time as signed off by engineers
  • Creating and closing logbook entries
  • Opening ADFs and / or OOPs
  • Inputting flight ground test data
  • Deferring logbook entry work orders
  • Introducing servicing reports into MDS system
  • Performing equipment transactions
  • Send weekly reports to Part 145 with the maintenance plan
  • Report and escape any system issues to relevant individuals
  • General administration tasks
  • Support essential maintenance activities for live flight events, including on-call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, in a 24 / 7 rolling rota.
