Location: Teesport, Middlesbrough, TS6 6UD

Working Arrangements

Working Arrangements: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am – 15:30pm. Overtime available.

Responsibilities
  • Completing planned 8-weekly inspections.
  • Applying proven trailer technician expertise to maintain and repair equipment.
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest standards.
  • Carry out on-site repairs as required.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of pneumatics and electrics.
We are seeking someone who
  • Has the ability to work alone as well as in a team.
  • Adheres to all health and safety policies.
  • Holds a recognised qualification in HGV/trailer maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • Has strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains accurate service and repair records.
  • Possesses a flexible approach with the ability to respond to operational needs at short notice in all weather conditions.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship.
  • Someone who is proactive in identifying potential faults and implement solutions.
