Fleet & Equipment Administrator Band 4
There will be travel to a different site on a weekly basic and also the job entails physically de-kitting old ambulances, kitting new vehicles with all the new equipment with adding RFID tags and updating the software As well as being a key member of the team, you will be responsible for your continued personal development including staff training and completion of courses as required.
You will also attend meetings and oversee the recording of data, minutes and information supporting both management information systems and dashboards.
Meetings will mainly take place on MS Teams, however there will be a requirement to attend face to face meetings across the region both internally within the Trust and externally with key stakeholders as required.
Good communication skills both written and verbal, attention to detail is vital for this role, along with experience of working to tight deadlines.
Effective team cohesion, ability to prioritise tasks within work stream balanced with supporting team members with their outputs as required.
Ability to follow established processes and utilise standard operating procedures.
Experience of working with computer systems to include Microsoft Office and use of IT packages, web-based systems, and computerised systems in the management of the vehicle fleet.
Attend regular meetings both internally within the Trust and externally with third party service providers.
Travel to various sites within NWAS. Able to work confidently and efficiently with minimum supervision.
Office Based Corporate Hours Monday to Friday based at Bury Ambulance Station X1 37.5-hour contracts.

Our highly skilled staff provide life‑saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non‑emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non‑emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West.
NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England.
It provides non‑emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
