Based at East Ham Maintenance Depot, you’llsupport the newly commissioned Class 720/6 Aventra and Class 357 Electrostar fleets, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their safety, reliability, and performance. This is your opportunity to make a real impact on the passenger experience and the efficiency of modern rail systems.
In this role, you’ll oversee the design, development, and maintenance of rolling stock to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory standards. You’ll mitigate safety and reliability risks, conduct root cause analysis, and define long-term solutions. Collaboration is key you’ll work closely with designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and operators to manage projects from concept through to completion. You’ll also identify and implement safe, cost-effective containment measures and countermeasures for product safety issues, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution.
