NHS Grampian Fixed Term Consultant with Special Interest in Child Protection — Ref: EG224056

Location: Bairns’ Hoose, Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital

Contract: Fixed Term for 8 months

Hours: 24 hours per week (6 PAs)

The successful applicant will join a dynamic Community Child Health Department within a Combined Child Health Service of NHS Grampian. They will join the Team of Consultants, Associate Specialists and Specialty Doctors who provide Specialist Child Protection Services to children and young people living in and around Aberdeen. The post offers the opportunity to develop the new Aberdeen City Bairns’ Hoose, based on the Icelandic model, Barnahus, bringing together justice, health, social work and recovery support. The post holder will be a key member of the Bairns’ Hoose Team and will work as part of NHSG Child Protection Specialist Team at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital.
