Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer required to join a global engineering manufacturer.

The successful Fitter will work on the mechanical fitting, stripping, assembling, and maintenance of industrial pump systems and other rotating equipment in the workshop near Brentford. Full training provided.

The Fitter will ideally have practical, hands‑on, and used to getting stuck into physical mechanical work, someone who enjoys taking things apart, rebuilding equipment, and working with tools day‑to‑day.

Role
  • Carry out mechanical fitting, stripping, and assembly of pumps and rotating machinery.
  • Strip down equipment, replace worn parts, and rebuild to specification.
  • Inspect and test mechanical components, spotting wear or faults.
  • Support general workshop repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Work closely with other engineers to keep jobs moving.
  • Commutable to the workshop in Hanwell, West London daily.
