A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fitness Manager at a dynamic, fast paced and modern corporate Fitness Centre. This role is a 12 month fixed-term maternity leave cover, working amongst a high-performing team and leading on key clinical fitness and programme development projects over the employment term. As Fitness Manager, you'll be a highly organised and forward-thinking individual with experience in management, fitness programme development and a proven track record of developing high-performing teams. You'll have significant understanding of corporate fitness and wellness environment with good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Managing the performance of high-quality fitness programme delivery, which includes inductions, programming, Personal Training management and fitness based health assessments (Personal Best)
  • Leading and developing a team of Senior Fitness & Wellbeing Advisors and Fitness & Wellbeing Advisors, fostering a culture of professionalism, education, and motivation to ensure service excellence
  • Developing relationships with key internal corporate stakeholders and facilitating joint-venture collaborations
  • Driving engagement of fitness based health assessments (Personal Best) and using the insights to demonstrate making a positive health impact on the corporate workforce
  • Preparation of reports and presentations including monthly performance and quarterly contract reviews
  • Management of team rota, scheduling and ensuring HR and people policies are adhered to amongst the fitness team
  • Day-to-day fitness operations, including team compliance with fitness equipment maintenance, cleanliness standards, and adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Support with duty manager shifts on fixed rota which may including mornings/evenings and a few Saturday shifts across the year.
