WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a First Line Manager, you'll be at the heart of our warehouse operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the day-to-day running of a safe and efficient operation within clear guidelines.
  • Reporting and investigating workplace incidents, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Understanding and driving team performance against clear Objectives & KPIs.
  • Leading shift performance meetings to align priorities and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Supporting the transport operation on site and collaborating directly with our customer.
  • Attending regular customer calls to maintain strong relationships and service standards.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a First Line Manager in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Transport knowledge or experience - beneficial but not essential.
  • Customer-facing experience - essential for managing direct interactions and expectations.
  • Health & Safety awareness - with experience in a similar operational role.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal, to lead teams and engage stakeholders.
