Overview

Fire & Security Engineer – £35k-£45k Base Salary (neg DOE) + Company Van + Pension + Benefits. Location: Hampshire - Fareham | Portsmouth | Southampton.

Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours who have over 20 years' experience within the Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services sector.

Responsibilities

• Install, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of fire detection, alarm, CCTV, intruder, and emergency lighting systems across commercial, industrial, educational, and public-sector environments.
• Service, maintain, and fault-find on: fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intruder alarms etc.
• Work across a range of commercial premises and clients.
• Form part of a call out rota system, however very rare to be called out. (additional standby payment when on call, plus overtime rates and paid door to door).

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer
• Strong knowledge of fire detection systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV etc.
• Recognised industry qualifications (FIA modules, electrical qualifications, etc.)
• Hold UK driving licence.

Package & Benefits

• £35k-£45k Base Salary (depending on experience) + Additional Overtime and Callout Rates
