About the role

An exciting new role within our Property Function! Tesco is recruiting a Fire Safety Engineer to ensure the ongoing improvement and management of fire safety across Tesco’s operations. This role is critical for enhancing fire safety risk management, compliance, and providing expert support to teams across Tesco.

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate fire safety into projects
• Conduct biweekly reviews to monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Work with internal teams for accurate data reporting
• Attend site visits with fire brigade to verify compliance with fire safety measures
• Act as a point of contact for fire-related issues with authorities
• Participate in audits and develop a fire safety guide for Tesco’s operations
