Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience paint spraying and surface preparation processes.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Full understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Experience working in manufacturing organisations.

Responsibilities

• Checking and cleaning surfaces before applying finishes using a hand spray gun.
• Setting and operating ovens to required temperatures and ensuring batch traceability.
• Masking detail components to specifications using tapes and plugs.
• Unmasking components and inspecting paint surfaces for damage.
• Measuring paint thickness and gloss level to ensure conformance.
