Qualifications

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an Accountancy Practice Firm.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting packages and statutory accounts preparation software (ideally CaseWare experience).
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102 with preferably some knowledge of IFRS.
  • Strong time management and delegative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring clients’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assisting in the preparation of more complex statutory accounts and review of disclosures.
  • Preparation of integrated cash flow and Consolidation working schedules.
  • Client relationship building and assisting management with client portfolios.
  • Ensuring completion of assigned areas of work within the time budget.
  • Seeking to continuously improve systems and procedures.
  • Providing assistance and coaching to junior staff.
  • Prioritising own work and deadlines.
  • Driving best practice in the team.
  • Liaising with other departments in the firm.
