Financial Controller

The Role of Financial Controller

• Managing a dynamic busy team of 6 within the finance team.
• Managing and setting departmental budgets / producing financial reports.
• Cashflow management
• Responsibilities for producing manufacturing costs
• Strategic relationship management with visibility across the business
  (networks and alliances; mergers, acquisitions and disposals).
• Developing and managing financial systems/models
• Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
• Assist in the production of year-end file for auditors
• Supervise payments to suppliers
• Expense reporting and control
• VAT Reporting/Intrastat (e.g. sales report)
• Rebate management and control
• Developing and ensuring compliance with financial policies and controls
• Supporting the budgeting process
• Ad hoc financial analysis, including provision of financial support to strategic decision making and transactions
