Marley is seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure robust fiscal management. As a key partner to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting the strategic growth of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a background in manufacturing or construction to take ownership of a critical function within a long‑standing, reputable industry leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations accounts team to deliver precise monthly management accounts and actionable business insights.
• Own the annual budget, monthly FP&A modelling and weekly cash‑flow forecasting, ensuring robust control of the balance sheet and the end‑to‑end capital expenditure process.
• Provide vital commentary on revenue and margins while supporting the annual audit.
• Deputise for the Finance Director and assist with broader departmental duties as the business evolves.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant.
• Experience in manufacturing or standard costing.
• Multi‑site and entity financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Keen eye for detail, well‑organised and curious.
• Demonstrable management of team and coaching skills.
• Preferable SAP experience.
