Overview

Our client is a well-known and highly successful manufacturer based in Burton on Trent. They are presently looking to appoint a qualified Financial Accountant who can assist with driving process improvement whilst providing accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Lend support with preparation of annual management plan and forecasting
  • Fixed/variable cost centre reporting
  • Month end closing of trade creditors area of the balance sheet
  • Financial accounting and control of central HQ cost recharges
  • Auditor liaison
  • Drive process improvements and internal controls
  • Lend support with monthly group reporting
  • Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts
  • Prepare information for tax purposes
  • Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications

In order to carry out this role, candidates should be qualified with relevant working experience, ideally from a manufacturing environment. You should also be capable of showing a high level of attention to detail and have great analytical skills whilst continually demonstrating solid technical financial accounting skills with a good knowledge of internal controls.
