This role will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, including preparing forecasts, year-end reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Finance Manager - Temp - Rotherham - up to £44,000

Chase & Holland are working closely with a dynamic, rapidly growing business who are looking for a Finance Manager on a temporary basis to support during a busy period. As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, ensuring adequate controls are in place.

Finance Manager Responsibilities
  • Produce monthly financial forecast update pack for Head Office
  • Produce year end reports, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting
  • Carrying out all AP and AR duties and prepare payment schedule for GM
  • Producing management accounts, advising GM any variances
  • Forecast cash flow position whilst ensuring sufficient funds are available
  • Maintain balance sheet and ensure it is reconciled
  • Ensure purchase order process is followed and adhered to
  • Manage Annual Statement of Accounts, reporting on all performance
  • Ensure that the company complies with the International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Dealing with Corporation Tax, VAT, Employer's NI contributions
  • Liaising with third party auditors to support with end of year stock count
  • Advise business of any financial risks attached to initiatives, i.e. poor credit history, exchange rates or extended account terms taken without permission
Required skills and experience
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Recent use and proficiency in Sage 50 and Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Commercial and business acumen
  • Problem solving skills - identify issues and present solutions
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
