Finance Manager - Education
Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Are you an experienced qualified finance professional looking to make a real impact in education? We're looking for a Finance Manager to join this Academy Trust. You'll manage the day-to-day running of the finance office, support the Finance Director, and ensure strong financial control across our schools.

What you'll do
  • Lead on budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts
  • Ensure accurate payroll, funding, and reporting
  • Provide financial advice to school leaders and budget holders
  • Identify efficiencies and maximise income opportunities
  • Line-manage and support finance staff
What we're looking for
  • Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA/AAT L4 (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong financial reporting and analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel and finance system knowledge
  • Organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
