This role requires managing the full bookkeeping cycle and preparing monthly accounts while working closely with directors and external consultants. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of construction experience, strong commercial understanding, and expertise in Xero. Qualifications

• Ideally qualified, however QBE considered and have at least 5 years' experience ideally within construction.
• Demonstrate a strong commercial understanding, ideally within growing businesses in the construction sector.
• Experience within Xero & any other construction financial systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and purchase processes, invoicing, supplier management, and payment runs.
• Complete VAT and CIS returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.
• Manage and run payroll for approx. X with accurate allocation of labour costs.
• Monitor cash flow, cost control, labour tracking, and profitability across projects.
• Prepare monthly accounts with full working papers, WIP reviews, and reporting.
