Overview

IPS Finance is handling a newly created Finance Manager role to join a leading support services company. This role will support the Group Finance Director in the day-to-day finance operations and lead a small finance team. This employee-owned business operates internationally and combine innovation with a strong commitment to client service. They pride themselves on supporting staff development and providing a collaborative, people-focused working environment.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Group Finance Director
• Oversee the production of management accounts, cashflows, budgets, and VAT returns
• Provide financial analysis, including variance reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support year-end processes, including audit deliverables and liaising with external auditors
• Present financial information to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Lead and develop a team of five finance professionals

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant
• Strong experience in accounting packages and advanced Excel skills
• Experience managing and developing a team
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Confidence in presenting financial information to senior stakeholders
• Desirable (not essential): Knowledge of Sage/Xero and advanced Excel skills
• Experience preparing financial information to support strategic and operational decisions
