Overview

Finance Manager - Hampshire

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year | Full-time - Permanent

A Finance Manager is sought to join a growing, dynamic business based in Hampshire. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to oversee a broad spectrum of financial activities, including management accounts, payroll, multi-currency bank reconciliations and system processes. You will also lead and develop a small, high performing finance team, helping to drive efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement across the function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and multi-entity year end accounts
  • Support for audits, VAT and US sales tax returns
  • Daily bank reconciliations, payroll administration and supplier payments
  • Managing sales agent commissions and responding to financial queries
  • Leading, coaching and developing a Credit Controller and two Finance Assistants
  • Driving process improvements and liaising with external finance software support
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience (QBE)
  • Previous experience in a similar Finance Manager role
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team
  • Payroll experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Within reasonable commuting distance of Romsey
