Qualifications

  • Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong cost accounting and project finance understanding.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly WIP reviews with Project Managers.
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial close‑out of completed works.
  • Prepare monthly performance summaries for the UK MD and financial reporting to Group HQ.
  • Deliver P&L variance analysis (Actual vs Budget/Last Year).
  • Drive forecasting, order intake and SG&A projections, and annual budgeting.
  • Oversee payroll, VAT, statutory reporting and liaison with external auditors, accountants, and insurers.
  • Support Global TA team on recruitment processes end-to-end in UK.
  • Oversee time/absence registration, workflows and general HR administration.
  • Serve as the local point of contact for HR-related guidance and compliance.
  • Oversee management of the Wiltshire office.
  • Support the planning and setup of future UK satellite offices.
  • Continuously improve Q-Box (Quality Management) processes and business workflows.
  • Coordinate sustainability (CSRD) data collection for the UK market.

In the UK, we specialise in designing, installing, and testing life‑safety smoke ventilation systems and delivering energy‑saving airflow solutions for a broad range of facilities. As our UK presence grows, we are strengthening our leadership team with a highly capable Finance Manager.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Finance Manager to join our management team in Bowerhill.

This is a pivotal, hands‑on role combining financial leadership, project controls, HR oversight, and responsibility for office and business operations. You will serve as a key business partner to the UK Managing Director, playing a central role in driving financial performance, operational structure, and organisational maturity as our UK business continues to grow.

Key responsibilities
Financial Management & Project Accounting
