The role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the hotel's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will report directly to the Cluster Director of Finance and the General Manager, working collaboratively to drive financial performance and operational excellence.

This role is based at a Hyatt-managed property and involves working closely with hotel ownership, building strong relationships and ensuring transparency and trust in financial matters.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Be accountable for month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Work closely with HR to oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with UK employment legislation.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and drive cost efficiencies across departments.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with hotel owners, providing clear and timely financial updates.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
