Hirexo are working with an established technology-enabled services business based in Leicester City Centre, currently investing in the continued development of its finance function. As part of this growth, the business is seeking a Finance Manager to support key areas across audit coordination, tax compliance and treasury operations.

The role is well suited to a qualified accountant looking to broaden their exposure beyond core accounting into a more commercially aware, operational finance position. The office is located in the heart of Leicester City Centre and is easily commutable from Leicester, Leicestershire, Loughborough, Market Harborough, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray, Derby, Derbyshire, Burton, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.

Our client is a UK-headquartered technology services organisation employing circa #removed# people and generating c.£70m annual turnover. The business operates across multiple locations in the UK and overseas and supports a diverse client base through a combination of recurring services and project-based delivery.

Continued expansion has increased the need for additional capability across treasury, tax and audit support within the finance team.

Finance Manager Opportunity

This role has been created to strengthen the finance function during a period of sustained growth. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior finance colleagues and external advisors, taking responsibility for defined areas while remaining hands‑on and close to day‑to‑day finance operations.

The role offers exposure to complex finance activity without ownership of statutory reporting, making it an ideal step‑up opportunity for a technically strong, delivery‑focused accountant.

What the Finance Manager will be involved in:

• Supporting and coordinating the external audit process, ensuring timely preparation of audit information and acting as a key point of contact.
• Assisting with UK and international tax compliance, including coordination with external tax advisors.
• Supporting treasury and banking activities, including cash reporting, payment oversight and bank administration.
• Providing oversight and operational support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Monitoring and maintaining controls relevant to tax and treasury-related balance sheet areas.
• Contributing to finance process, controls and systems improvements.
• Acting as a finance point of contact for internal stakeholders on audit, tax and treasury-related matters.
• Providing hands‑on support across the finance team during peak periods as required.

To be successful as the Finance Manager, you will need the following:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA preferred, ACCA or CIMA considered).
• Big 4 or Top 10 practice training preferred.
• Experience supporting audit processes and working with external advisors.
• Exposure to tax compliance and treasury-related activities.
• Experience working alongside or supporting transactional finance teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• A practical, hands‑on approach with a desire to broaden responsibility.

The package on offer for the Finance Manager includes:

• Base salary of £65,000 – £75,000 depending on experience
