Description

A leading manufacturing organization is looking to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager to join their team. Acting as a business partner, you will work closely with operational teams, providing financial support and analysis, as well as reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate management information reports monthly and on an ad hoc basis, and managing month-end procedures
  • Providing financial support to operations, with line management responsibility for one direct report
  • Analyzing and reporting all financial data related to operations
  • Reporting savings achieved through business projects to the group
  • Conducting monthly variance analysis, including recoveries, yield, and stock, and managing stock take/cycle counting accuracy
  • Managing and reporting on WIP
  • Determining, analyzing, and reporting key drivers for operations
  • Ensuring accuracy of product costs in SAP, including BOMs and recipes
  • Producing annual budgets and rolling forecasts quarterly
  • Facilitating understanding of operational performance through regular meetings with operational managers

Applications are welcome from CIMA or ACCA qualified accountants with a minimum of 5 years PQE and experience working in a manufacturing environment with standard costing principles. Candidates should have advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
