Job summary

A dynamic financial services firm in Altrincham is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Finance Team. This role includes responsibilities for financial planning and analysis, annual operating plans, and year-end accounts preparation. The ideal candidate is a qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant with strong Excel skills. Agility is delighted to be partnering with an amazing Manchester-based brand that due to exponential growth are adding to their accounts team based in their friendly offices in Altrincham.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has management experience and is looking to help become a key member of a management team in a fast-paced business. Due to our continued growth, this role also offers fast-track opportunities in Senior Management

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the management of the Finance Team
  • Ownership of FP&A, working with the Head of Products to create the Annual Operating Plan as well as quarterly forecasts
  • Preparation of annual operating plan and forecasts across various cost centres
  • Responsible for accurate preparation of year-end accounts for submission to accountants
  • Ensuring the financial processes are robust and suitable for Audit
  • Overseeing MI function, developing commercial reports for the Senior Management Team
  • Production of monthly Shareholder Pack
  • Working on ad hoc projects to improve and streamline systems
Qualifications
  • Qualified CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Be able to use Excel to a high standard
  • Exceptional IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Sage 200 experience
  • Sage 50 Payroll experience - desirable
  • Contributory pension
