Interim Finance Manager – 300– 325 per day (Umb)

We are working with an ambitious and fast–growing brand based in Camden, London, who are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment during a period of growth and transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal postings, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for multiple entities
  • Maintain up–to–date and accurate accounting records in line with company standards
  • Support the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure documentation is audit–ready
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Coordinate external audit processes and respond to auditor queries
  • Ensure full compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
  • Drive process documentation and lead continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes
  • Oversee day–to–day accounting operations, assign tasks, and review team outputs
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development support to finance team members
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including payment runs and cash postings
  • Support tax compliance activities, including VAT submissions and payroll reconciliations
  • Maintain and update cost centres, GL codes, and system access in a timely manner
