A leading international leisure organization in West London is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the finance department and support business growth. The ideal candidate will be degree educated with ACA or ACCA qualifications. Responsibilities include managing accounts, producing budgets, and engaging with diverse teams. Qualifications

  • Degree educated, ideally recently qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • Previous experience in leisure/real estate or construction sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the finance department.
  • Oversee finance function across multiple entities.
  • Production of quarterly statutory accounts and tax computations.
  • Conduct cost analysis and produce budgets and forecasts.
  • Work with HMRC and manage VAT returns.

A leading international leisure organisation - a vibrant, successful business with substantial backing that is looking to grow significantly in the next couple of years.

Finance Manager - About the role

Working alongside the Directors of the business, duties will include:

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day running of the finance department
  • Managing the finance function of a number of different entities
  • Managing bank payments, reconciliations and foreign currency accounts
  • Production of all quarterly statutory accounts and tax computations
  • Production of budgets and forecasts
  • Cost analysis
  • Working with HMRC and producing VAT returns
  • Ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Board
Finance Manager - Candidate requirements
  • Degree educated, and ideally recently qualified ACA, ACCA that has qualified in practice but now working in industry
  • Previous experience in the leisure/real estate or construction sector is highly advantageous
  • Dynamic and ambitious, get things done outlook
  • Strong system skills and knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, QuickBooks etc.
  • An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality
  • Willingness to engage successfully with people from an non-finance background
