Overview

A well-established and growing business based in Bridlington is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. On offer is a salary of up to £50,000 (depending on experience), along with a strong benefits package and the chance to play a key role in shaping the finance function.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting.
  • Preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Managing cash flow, credit control, and working capital to maintain strong financial health.
  • Supporting the Finance Director with financial planning, analysis, and project work.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing junior members of the finance team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or be qualified by experience with strong relevant background).
  • Proven experience in management accounts, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, or equivalent).
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
