Description
  • Manage and oversee the daily financial operations of the organisation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and reporting.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Manage STL project budgets and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved financial efficiency.
Profile

A successful Finance Lead should have:

  • Hold a full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and public sector accounting standards.
  • Proven experience in financial management and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (D365)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
