Our client, a leading multi‑site manufacturing organisation based in Birmingham, is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in shaping the company's financial strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic finance professional who thrives on driving performance, improving processes and systems, and leading a high‑performing team.
You will assist the Group Financial Director in preparing monthly consolidated and fully integrated management accounts for the group companies, ensuring covenant compliance. You will also produce individual company management accounts, detailed finance reports, and provide insightful commentary to directors.
The role demands strong knowledge of costing, margin analysis, production labour and overhead recovery, scrap analysis, and intercompany costing updates. Budget preparation, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and forecasting will be key components of your responsibilities.
