Overview

Band 13 - £51,356 to £54,495 per annum

Full time 37hrs per week (part time would also be considered)

Based at the Guildhall, Gainsborough (with provision to work from home)

Flexi time and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Responsibilities
  • This exciting role provides an opportunity to develop as a leader responsible for the Business Support Finance functions.
  • Manage a small team of Finance Business Partners.
  • Lead on budget monitoring, the annual review of fees and charges and budget setting.
  • Contribute to the production of the Council’s five-year Medium Term Financial Plan.
  • Assist in the production of the annual Statement of Accounts ensuring compliance with the recommended practice and accounting policies.
  • Work with the recently implemented OneFinance system to develop and enhance financial insight across the council.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Finance Team Leader in developing financial insight.
