Overview

Finance Business Analyst - VP role in London/Hybrid, contract until 31/03/2026, day rate £750 via Umbrella Company.

What You'll Do

• Support the Finance function in delivering all aspects of the Transaction Banking project.
• Document current business processes and envision potential 'to be' processes.
• Create a structured delivery plan, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and executing thorough testing.
• Collaborate closely with various Finance functions, engaging in project management, business analysis, and essential business operations.
• Provide vital technical accounting and prudential regulatory insights, ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse financial data and provide technical accounting interpretation.
• Conduct gap analyses and develop actionable deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely production of core deliverables.
• Prepare and execute user acceptance testing scripts to assess system changes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, managing expectations seamlessly.

Who You Are

• A qualification as an accountant with familiarity in IFRS reporting standards. Knowledge of regional GAAPs (French, German, Japanese) is a plus.
• A technical degree in accounting or finance-related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in Finance transformation and change programmes within Commercial or Investment Banking.
• Strong numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and models.
• Proficiency in SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel, with experience in data-related projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
