Job description
Overview

We're excited to offer a phenomenal opportunity for an expert Finance Business Analyst to join our Finance Continuous Improvement team on a permanent basis. As part of a multifaceted and forward-thinking team, you'll work closely with Finance Global Process Owners (GPOs), technology partners, and key collaborators to support business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Drawing on your strong understanding of finance operations—particularly transactional processes—you'll identify inefficiencies, propose practical solutions, and help implement outstanding processes that improve performance, compliance, and user experience. You'll play a key role in crafting and optimising core finance processes across the business. This is a hands-on role that combines critical thinking with day-to-day delivery, ideal for someone who grows with change, loves problem-solving, and is passionate about making a real impact in finance operations.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with collaborators across Finance to capture and document detailed business requirements for process and system changes
  • Build strong working relationships with finance practitioners to uncover difficulties, identify improvement opportunities, and feed into the continuous improvement pipeline
  • Support the development and rollout of a robust internal control framework to ensure compliance and financial integrity
  • Partner with GPOs and business teams to track and improve process performance, using critical metrics to measure success against policy and targets
  • Collaborate with the technology function to drive system improvements and deliver functional changes
  • Proactively handle project progress, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and benefits realisation reporting
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation to support standardisation, training, and compliance efforts
Qualifications
  • Experience working within operational finance processes (e.g. PTP, OTC, or Record to Report) is essential. This role is not suited to candidates without direct finance process expertise.
  • Strong background in finance process change
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience of bringing together business requirements and working collaboratively with both business and technology teams to motivate change through its lifecycle, proficient knowledge of guideline finance processes and experience in leading finance transformation
  • Strong communication skills, able to build trust and inspire colleagues to be part of the change
  • Knowledge of project management approaches and tools
  • Ability to work across functions and geographies
  • Ability to analyse and present data
  • Experience of working with Oracle Fusion is desirable
Benefits
  • Flexible working with a range of options
  • Generous holiday allowance, plus you can buy more
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Competitive pension contribution
  • Save as you earn - with an opportunity to buy ITV shares
  • Wellbeing and volunteering days plus a wide range of opportunities to help you live a balanced and healthy life
