The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our team. You will be predominantly working on the AR function globally, reporting into the Senior Finance Transactional Manager, working closely with the AR transaction lead. This position will give the right individual the opportunity to contribute to the growth of one of the world’s most ingenious and loved brands!

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Manage daily EDI order uploads and acknowledgements. Resolve EDI discrepancies and liaise with retailers to ensure data accuracy. Monitor invoice transmissions and troubleshoot failed transactions.
  • Process Amazon orders across all relevant platforms, prepare and submit accurate invoicing through Amazon Vendor or Seller systems. Investigate chargebacks, shortages, or payment discrepancies.
  • Process professional/salon customer credit card transactions. Ensure secure handling of payment information. Allocate payments to customer accounts promptly and accurately.
  • Reconcile online sales data and bank reconciliations with merchant service provider reports.
  • Maintain accurate daily and monthly AR reconciliation records.
  • UK Retailer Credit Control, monitor customer accounts and chase outstanding payments in line with credit terms. Build strong working relationships with key retailer accounts.
  • Prepare aging reports and highlight overdue balances to management.
  • Assist in resolving invoice queries and support the reduction of debtor days.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
  • Familiarity with EDI systems and online sales platforms (Amazon, e‑commerce portals) preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Microsoft Navision (desired but not essential).
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A team player with the ability to also work unsupervised.
  • A good communicator with interpersonal skills.
