Join Our Clients' Team as a Finance Assistant!

Are you looking to jumpstart your career in finance? Do you have a passion for numbers and a knack for organisation? If so, we want to hear from you! Our client, a dynamic recruitment organisation, is on the lookout for a motivated Finance Assistant to join their fast-paced team.

Work arrangement and salary
  • This is a Permanent, Full-Time position.
  • Working from home 3 days a week, in the office 2 days.
  • Based in Shoreditch
  • Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Credit Control: Ensuring timely payments and managing outstanding accounts.
  • Accounts Payable: Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records.
  • Financial Software: Utilising Xero for bookkeeping and Bullhorn for recruitment processes.
  • Contractor Payroll: Support the end-to-end payroll process for contractors, ensuring accurate and timely payments along with resolving payroll queries.
  • Onboarding Compliance and Financial Reporting.
Who you are / Requirements
  • Organised and Proactive: You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of keeping things on track.
  • Ideally has worked in a sales/recruitment environment within an operational/finance role.
  • Eager to Learn: You may not have all the answers, but you have the attitude to succeed.
