Job description

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented finance professional looking to join a fast‑paced, commercially minded team. Here, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the Finance Business Partner (FBP) to establish and maintain robust pricing and margin controls, helping us achieve our business goals. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of price, promo, and margin data across the business. If you’re excited to use your finance expertise to support profitability, collaborate with key departments, and drive continuous improvements, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with an impressive set of accreditations, from B Corp status to silver standard Investors in People, and a Sunday Times Best Place to Work. We are a diverse team driven by a shared passion and strong set of values, a love of great food, and big ambitions for the future. With over 30 years of leadership in bringing bold Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours to kitchens across the UK, we’ve got exciting plans ahead and we’re looking for great people to help us get there.

What you will do:

Work alongside the FBP to establish and maintain robust pricing and margin controls, you will:

  • Perform in-depth profitability analysis by channel, customer, and SKU to drive insights and business decisions.
  • Administer all price changes, including annual reviews and ad‑hoc updates, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Manage the day‑to‑day credit note process, recommending process improvements where applicable.
  • Assist with financial assessments and gate approvals for new product launches.
  • Maintain accurate calculations and reconciliations of customer rebates and overriders.
  • Prepare regular reports on pricing, rebates, and other commercial metrics to support business strategies.

You will also contribute to and learn from the wider finance team to turbo charge your own growth and our strategic growth.

Our ideal candidate will have:

At least 1 year of experience in a commercial finance‑related role, with a firm understanding of fundamental accounting and commercial principles (accruals, reconciliations, ledger management, P&L, overriders, etc.), and how to apply these. Additionally important is an understanding of the importance of data security and accuracy in digital environments.

In addition, you will make a great success if you have:
  • Strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability learn quickly and adapt to new financial tools and platforms.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, both verbally and in writing, and across cross‑functional teams.
  • Comfortability using financial software, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other digital tools.
  • Capable to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and improve, and ability to take the initiative and ownership, whilst demonstrating integrity, reliability, and a strong commitment to quality standards.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth, and open to feedback.

Whilst a degree in Finance/Accounting, or a related field, and previous exposure to pricing, margin analysis, and commercial finance, especially in a fast‑paced FMCG environment, is preferred, we will consider all candidates with relevant transferable skills or equivalent experience.
