An educational charity in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide finance support. The role involves reviewing purchase orders, processing invoices in Xero, and managing financial paperwork. Salary: £27,000 - £30,500 p.a. full-time equivalent, dependent on experience

We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant who will work closely with the rest of the finance team to support the Foundation across all of its entities which will be an interesting and varied role. You will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for day-to-day purchasing and transactional accountancy support for the Foundation. The role will suit someone who has experience in bookkeeping and there is scope for the organisation to support study towards an accountancy qualification if desired. You will need to be conscientious and efficient, and take pride in the accuracy of your work to give a good level of support to colleagues you are working with. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities. The role requires management of a high volume of administrative duties, leveraging strong organisational and prioritisation skills to meet key deadlines and objectives. You should be a natural team player with strong communication skills who can deliver in a fast-paced environment and be able to talk to colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
